Eager to learn everything she can about her new abilities as an Immortal, Ever turns to her beloved Damen to show her the way. But just as her powers are increasing, Damen’s are waning.
In an attempt to save him, Ever travels to the magical dimension of Summerland, where she learns the secrets of Damen’s tortured past; a past which he has always kept hidden from her. But in her quest to cure Damen, Ever discovers an ancient text that details the workings of time. Now Ever must choose between turning back the past and saving her family from the accident that claimed their lives—or staying in the present and saving Damen, who grows sicker every day...
I read this book in... two days maybe? I actually really like this series. Blue Moon just came out this month, and is the second book in the Immortals series.
This is one of those books you might look at and say: another one of "those series". You know what I'm saying? But really it's not. The characters whom were introduced previously in "evermore" are very unique. The contrast between the characters is also huge. The determination of one character and the unsureness of another.
One thing I have to say that I loved about "Blue Moon" is the other, lets say "fantasy dimension" (???) brought into the story: time travel. I mean obviously just as in every book, something goes wrong and... you can read the book to find out the rest of the juicy details!
All you Twilight lovers out there? This series strongely reminds me of the Twilight series. Even from the covers and titles! ( New Moon- Blue Moon). The plot line is also similar. Bella can't see Edward... Damen becomes sick and Ever... Gasp whoops i almost gave away too much info again. How about something tragic happens. The ending ertainly isn't expected and a little bizarre i have to admit.
