I think I can say that this book has been one of the most anticipated of 2009. So to say I wasn't excited to read this would be a major understatement. Of course I'd read some serious mixed reviews (mostly good though)but when I recieved this in the mail from an amazon order, I just couldn't wait to read it. So I read and read and read. And then read some more. Then, before I knew it I was on the last page, and I wanted more. A lot more.
Hush, Hush was one of those novels, like Twilight, some people really love it, some people hate it. For me, I loved it, I usually do with these kind of novels. I also liked how Becca Fitzpatrick brought something new to the table - Fallen Angels. I hate to say it but Vampires are getting old; fast, which is ironic because they're immortal creatures. (haha). But Fallen Angels - you don't have to worry about "becoming a vampire" or "sparkling in the sunlight", it was all bure badness minus the blood.
I found the plot to be truly intruiging, I love those kind of books, mystery, romance, suspense, paranormal. The writting was exceptional and the characters all were different with interesting personalities and backrounds. Vee, Nora's best friend started to get annoying towards the end of the book, but then I started to like her again.
If you haven't read this novel, I strongly suggest you do. Not to mention the "eek" factor about the cover. Beautiful, no? So go buy this novel. NOW! Oh, and buy it HERE
